The Bulgarian Association for Management Development and Entrepreneurship is a leading organisation in the field of management and entrepreneurship training and development in Bulgaria. BAMDE unites the most renowned Bulgarian training institutions, promotes and guards the quality of trainers and training programmes and acts as a national platform for pro-fessional management and entrepreneurship development in Bulgaria with relations to inter-national management development organisations. BAMDE is a national, non-governmental, non-profit organisation, established in 1997 under the Phare Management Training Pro-gramme Bulgaria by leading Bulgarian universities, business schools, employers’ organisa-tions.
BAMDE’s core aims are to:
- unite the best training institutions in Bulgaria and promote certified training pro-grammes of its members
- secure the quality of executive training and the successful transfer of Western manage-rial know-how to the Bulgarian business environment
- establish national criteria for management development and create conditions for man-agement training at European standards
- transfer managerial and entrepreneurial know how in all regions in Bulgaria including formation and development of clusters of companies
- act as a meeting place for those responsible for management development in compa-nies, consulting organisations, training institutes and government
?    represent Bulgaria in international forums in the field of management development and entrepreneurship
- offer a variety of open training courses and in-company training programmes that were developed in close co-operation with training experts from abroad.
To achieve these aims BAMDE uses several dozens professional trainers and consultants, mainly prepared in the frames of big international projects.
BAMDE maintains contacts with relevant regional, national and international organisations, using different forms like international projects, seminars, conferences, partnership, etc.

BAMDE services
BAMDE and its members are ready to provide know-how, training, consulting, project devel-opment and management, mainly in the following areas:
- Restructuring of large recently privatised enterprises;
- Development of active labour market policy trough training for self-employment and re-training targeted to achieve market oriented professional skills that are demanded by the business community (mainly newly privatised companies);
- Development of policies (strategies) in the field for different regions taking into ac-count their specifics (including collaboration between business and local communi-ties);
- Policy advises for the development of a legal framework needed to provide an envi-ronment that favours inward investments;
- Strengthening of relevant organisations and institutions in order to facilitate the proc-ess of economic transformation;
- Result-oriented advice on how to attract foreign investors;
- Consulting services for joint ventures, private and privatised companies in Bulgaria.
- Auditing and other relevant services in the field of financial management.
