Deputy President of Milans ISPI (Institute for International Political Studies, a
think-tank connected to Italys Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Member of the
Management Board and of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Paolo Baffi
Centre on Central Banking and Financial Regulation at Bocconi University. Italian member
of the European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee. Writes editorials for La
Stampa.

Has been on the Council of Management and past-President of the Société Universitaire
Européenne de Recherches Financières, member of the Convergence Programme of the World
Bank on Home-Host Issues in South-Eastern Europe, member of Italian parliamentary and
governmental study groups, on the Italian banking and financial system, of Eu
Commissions working groups, of the Advisory Board of the European Round Table for
Financial Services. In 2002 gave a series of lectures on financial regulation in La Habana
to the staff of the Central Bank of Cuba.
Author of many publications in the fields of macro and monetary economics, international
banking, financial regulation.
