Cristina Rossi Lamastra
Cristina Rossi-Lamastra holds a PhD in Economics of Innovation from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
She is currently Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Milano School of Management.
Her research interests are in the area of Entrepreneurship, Organizational Economics, and User Innovation. In particular, her studies in Open Source Software (OSS) deal mainly with firms’ involvement in the OSS movement (business models, incentives, project participation, innovation processes).
Cristina has published on these topics in Management Science, Research Policy, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Small Business Economics, Journal of Small Business Management, International Journal of Small Business, California Management Review, R&D Management, Economic Letters, Industry & Innovation, Long Range Planning, among others. She is Associate Editor of Journal of Small Business Management and of Journal of Industrial and Business Economics. She edited special issues on Journal of Small Business Management and Industry & Innovation.
She is currently editing special issues on Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal and Journal of Product Innovation Management.
At the Politecnico di Milano School of Management, Cristina serves as director of the Executive MBA Part Time and she is member of the Steering Committee of the doctoral program.
She served as Representative at Large of the Interest Group of Entrepreneurship and Strategy of the Strategic Management Society and she is Representative at Large of the Technology and Innovation Management Division of the Academy of Management
